How do TOG ratings for sleep sacks work?
TOG describes how warm a garment is. Pick a lower TOG for warmer rooms and a higher TOG for cooler rooms, then adjust your baby’s base layers so they’re comfy—not hot. Check the back of the neck for heat/sweat and keep soft items away from the face.
Try tonight
- Match TOG to room temperature.
- If using Raffy as a cue, adjust clothing accordingly (don’t overbundle).
- Monitor baby’s neck for heat and fine-tune layers.

MUST buy the matching bedtime book ★★★★★
When first opening my daughter screeched at Bandit and was very excited. We kept up with the bedtime routine of the matching bedtime book paired with a snuggle from Bandit and it is now everyone's favourite part of the night. After a few weeks she is attached — she hugs him to sleep for EVERY sleep. This was a purchase I hesitated on for months — the answer is YES and you NEED the matching book.

Bandit ★★★★★
I introduced Bandit at 16 weeks to help day sleep. At first he liked the white noise but preferred my hand to settle. Now at 6 months his attachment has grown — he loves the soft touch and the lullaby tune. We’re now one of those successful stories… yay!

What the....... ★★★★★
My 5-month-old usually needs 20 minutes of feeding/rocking. Tonight we used our Riff Raff, read the book with the lullaby on, then I put him in the cot wide awake. Seven minutes later he was asleep — first time self-soothing ever. That lullaby is wizardry. I’m in shock!
