When will my baby “sleep through the night”?
“Through the night” can mean anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. Many babies manage 6–8 hour stretches by 4–6 months, especially with consistent pre-sleep cues like a comforter and gentle white noise. Progress isn’t linear—growth spurts and regressions can temporarily shorten stretches.
Try tonight
- Encourage full feeds before bed.
- Use your comforter + white noise as predictable sleep cues.
- Keep the routine consistent for several nights before judging results.

Buy one! ★★★★★
We introduced the Riff Raff to our 3rd child when he was 1 and refused to sleep through the night (waking 2–3 times for feeds). It was a game changer. It helped us very quickly create good sleep habits. We had him sleeping through in only a few weeks. … So far he settles as soon as I put the white noise on, even at only 2 weeks old.

Love love love!!!! ★★★★★
This was actually my 7th Riff Raff I have purchased. … We couldn’t believe how much Kiko had helped my daughter sleep through the night—she’s about to turn 4 and still takes it everywhere. My son has had his since newborn. Any future babies will also have one. Thank you for making an amazing comforter and saving my babies’ sleep.

Perfect sleeping assistant ★★★★★
I purchased Bandit the Raccoon for my little person and it has helped him sleep through the entire night. He went from sleeping 3–4 hours in between feeds to now sleeping at least 7–8 hours. They are amazing and I can’t wait to get another one for baby number 2.
